Comedy and therapy for PTSD have a lot in common: both deal with the absurd and rely on authenticity to be good. Clinical psychologist and researcher Edel McGlanaghy (the NHS and Edinburgh Napier University) demonstrates how trauma can be funny and comedy can be therapeutic, all at the same time.
