Red Raw

Our long-running weekly beginner’s showcase is regarded as one of the best open mic nights in the UK. Every Monday in Edinburgh, Tuesday's in Glasgow and Wednesday's in Newcastle, catch up to ten new acts – some treading the boards for the very first time. This is where everyone starts and it’s your chance to see the stars of tomorrow today. Watch out for older hands dropping in to try out new material too.

We're currently not accepting applications for Red Raw at this time.

Applications for new and local acts will open again 6th - 12th November for dates from January 2024. Applications for this round will only be accepted from acts who live locally to one of the venue cities AND have never performed with us before, or local acts who have performed with us previously but not within the last 2 years.

General applications for all other acts will reopen 3rd – 9th June 2024.
