The Suggestibles: Improv Comedy Joyride

Tonight celebrates the Suggestibles' 10-year anniversary at the Stand. 

In 2012 Newcastle beat Man U 3-0, Selfie was the new buzzword and it didn’t mean wanking anymore, Tick Tock was still the sound a clock made, only Londoners had to put up with Boris, and Corona was a bottled lager you put lime in. It was also the year the Suggestibles played their first gig at Newcastle’s brand-new comedy club, The Stand!

Over 100 shows later, The Suggestibles are here, we’re here, and we hope you will be here too for their first gig of 2022. “Let’s get this party started!” as they say at number 10.

You supply the suggestions. They supply the LAUGHS.

Be prepared for an edge-of-your-seat improv comedy joyride from Newcastle’s hot-fast hilarians. The Suggestibles show is a night of loosely controlled anarchy, all made up on the spot, a speeding rollercoaster of spontaneous games, skits, sketches and songs, topped off with their ingenious musical, ‘Aspects Of…’ The team of players has no script, no score, and no two shows are ever the same. This event will be sold to a maximum normal capacity with unreserved seating and standing room.

QR code track and trace check-in is available on arrival before entry. All customers will be asked to complete this.
As per Government Guidance and Updated Venue Policy, we suggest customers take a lateral flow test (LFT) on the day of your visit. Proof of certificate checks are not currently required before entry. This if for your own peace of mind and the safety of others.
We ask you to wear a mask at all times during your visit unless you have a medical exemption. This includes during the performance and when moving around the venue. Your mask may be removed temporarily when taking a drink or eating. 
We offer 100% refunds. Anyone with symptoms should not attend and contact [email protected]. We will arrange a full refund as quickly as possible but please bear with us during busy periods.
