Heel Boy is the first ever stand-up show from the legendary Alan Bissett – novelist, playwright, performer and Fringe First-winning creator of The Moira Monologues, When Billy Met Alasdair and The Red Hourglass – about how one straight(ish) man learned to love wearing stilettos. Through this, Bissett asks questions about the roles of men and women, with the charismatic, down-to-earth and very Scottish delivery that audiences have come to know and love over his twenty years touring the nation.
Directed by Kirstin McLean (Limmy’s Show)

“He’s proven, yet again, that his standing as a man of the Scottish arts continues to grow year upon year.” - 5***** British Theatre Guide on When Billy Met Alasdair
“Utterly compelling. It’s his storytelling that really holds the hour together.” – 4**** The List on The Red Hourglass
