Fresh from its hit Edinburgh Festival run, The Cut of Her Jib landed on three Fringe hit lists: 14 Shows We’ve Loved at the Fringe, Five Star Picks and Certified Fringe Bangers.
A wicked, gin-soaked dark comedy set on a stormy Edinburgh Hogmanay. Belinda’s husband disappears; enter Barbara, the cleaner with forensic instincts. Marriage, class and sex are dismantled with biting one-liners and delicious cruelty. Female rage detonates; widowhood can be an upgrade and menopause absolute murder.
From multi-award-winning Glasgow writer Kathleen Ruddy, creator of Sex, Chips & Ouzo, Glasgow Hard Tickets, Death of a Playboy, The Devil Wears Primark, Check Your Coupon and Spare Ribs.
“Comedic beauty” – The List.
