As a white, middle-class male, with a reasonably successful career, he fits the current stereotype of an over-privileged toxic bastard. But purely because he’s blind, he’s instead constantly being branded as a role model.

By chance, Jamie is not a toxic bastard. But surely, he has the right to be if he wants, without people just deciding he’s lovely?
