We like comedy that challenges pre-conceptions; routines that’ll make you think as well as laugh, from original voices. A keen interest in comedy is desirable.
Job Title: Venue Staff/Front of House Staff
Based at: The Stand Comedy Club/ Stand 1,2,3,4,5 and 6 (York place)
Salt N’ Sauce Promotions, 5 York Place, Edinburgh, EH1 3EB
Responsible for: assisting with the smooth running of the bar, door, shows
Reports to: Venue Manager/Assistant Venue Managers/ Duty Managers
Main Purpose of Job:
To promote high standards of professional practice which are conducive to providing excellent service for performers and customers.
Ensure that standards are maintained, and in-house procedures and policies are followed.
Feedback issues and complaints to the Venue Managers to ensure we continue to
Key Accountabilities
Between 20 -40+ hours a week
Must Have Requirements: At least 12 months relevant experience with the public in sales or front of house. Legal proof of your right to work in the UK.
Hourly rate of pay Start at £12.50 dependant on your role and job description.
