Every month at The Stand Newcastle, Neil Harris and a panel of academic comedians take a deep dive into the strangest, silliest, and most spectacular sides of science – all with the help of some questionable PowerPoint slides.
With regulars Kelly Edgar, Matthew Wheelwright, Luke Connell , and Elaine Robertson, plus a special guest expert each month, no two shows are the same. Each event is built around a new theme, packed with big laughs, surprising facts, and the occasional scientific mishap—because science is funnier than it has any right to be.
