One of Scotland's most popular authors. Best known for her celebrated crime fiction, she has written twelve novels as well as 13 episodes of DC's "Hellblazer" comic series. The Glasgow-born author has presented numerous television and radio shows. Her novel The Long Drop, based on the Peter Manuel case, won both the Gordon Burn Prize and the McIlvanney Prize. Denise is in conversation with playwright/poet Hannah Lavery, the official Makar of the City of Edinburgh.
