Comedians Vs. Homelessness: Nationwide stand up event

For one day only, in some of the world’s finest comedy clubs… a stand-up event like no other.

A veritable smorgasbord of the UK’s most loved comedic talent will take to stages across the country to raise vital funds for people experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

There’s a rough sleeping epidemic in Britain. The number of people with no option but to sleep on the streets has soared—up 20% in the last year alone. Over 400,000 people are now homeless on any given night. The message is clear: enough is enough.

From packed city venues to intimate clubs and iconic locations, a galaxy of comedic powerhouses will laugh the roof off—to help put a roof over those who need it most.

Rooted in social impact, Comedians Vs. Homelessness is more than a stand-up gig, it’s a powerful cultural movement. Wednesday October 8 is the beginning of World Homeless Week and the day when comedy becomes a unifying force for change—harnessing joy, connection and community to help end homelessness for good.

All profits will support:

  • Emergency relief: including food, shelter, hygiene access, and frontline support for people facing homelessness.
  • Long-term prevention: funding Comedy-on-Prescriptionworkshops in homeless shelters, providing a structured, creative intervention that builds confidence, connection and wellbeing for those most at risk.

Expect unforgettable performances, surprise guests, and a nationwide wave of comedy talent rallying to raise the roof—and help put one over someone’s head.

All proceeds minus vat and booking fees (capped at £4.80) will go to Centrepoint, The Passage The Ripple project and Simon community (Scotland)
