Welcome to The Stand Comedy Club
Established in 1995, the club runs two purpose built venues in Edinburgh and Glasgow.
Both are open seven nights a week with a varied programme of contemporary comedy featuring the
best Scottish and international comedians.
Starteded by a bunch of enthusiasts as a hobby, The Stand has now become a successful commercial
company, but one that is true to its roots of developing new comedy in Scotland and giving audiences
variety and value.
Many performers and critics regard the clubs as among the best comedy venues in the world. Just over one
hundred thousand people came last year. Maybe it’s time to come and see for yourself.
