Wilson Dixon, Country & Western legend from Cripple Creek, Colorado is back in the saddle, ready for business and is here at The Stand to put things right.

The last few years have been heady times for Wilson Dixon. The constant touring, the late nights and bright lights of the Country circuit have taken their toll. After a 10 minute conversation with his wife in a lonely truck-stop, 9 minutes of which involved Wilson trying to jog his wife's memory as to who he was, Wilson decides to head home and see his family. He finds his two young children alone in the house watching TV and eating their way through a freezer full of pizza. What's more his kids call another man daddy; as does his wife. She has filed for divorce and is now sleeping with the neighbour, a carpet salesman called Dwayne. And to top it off, Uncle Randy has lost a finger (his favourite one).

A man at rock bottom and standing on the crossroads, which way does Wilson go?

He retreats to the mountains to his old uncle Wilbour, a strange banjo playing eccentric who has lived alone in the wilderness most of his life. Together they jam some old country songs on the porch. Delving into the collective past of the Wild West, Wilson writes a mysterious ballad entitled The Man With No Name and through that makes some sense of what he and his life has become, and the maverick returns.
