Internet funnyman Limmy returns to the Fringe, one year on from his storming, sell-out Fringe debut of 2007, with a brand new Limmy's Show. But, unlike last year, Limmy hasn't been working hard to find things to put into his show. He's been working hard trying to find things to take out...

The reason being that this year's Limmy's Show was debuted at the Glasgow Comedy Festival in March, to a rapturous reception from three sell-out audiences at Oran Mor. It doesn't sound like much of a problem, but that show was 90 minutes long. The Fringe is only 60. So what should stay and what should go?

Should he keep the bit where he analysed that email he got from Dave Gorman? The email where Dave, in Limmy's words, "comes across as a total, patronising fucking wank”? What about those videos described by The Scotsman as "not only extremely funny but rather beautiful”? Like the one where Dee Dee from the World of Glasgow podcast starts getting bad vibes from his mirror. Surely there isn't enough time for all those videos?

Then there's the bit where he used his mobile phone as a remote control to control his laptop to trigger a sound effect that got a heckler to shut up. You had to be there. Surely that bit must get kept in?

And the bit where he tried to work out who the fuck Suggs is meant to be in those Fish Fingers ads.

And the bit where he gave us his chart rundown of the top 5 things he hates, one of which being Twenty's Plenty signs, cos they don't rhyme.

Well, whatever stays and whatever goes, the Fringe audience can be sure of a show crammed full of the dark, negative and sometimes evil comedy that fans of Limmy have come to enjoy.
