The honourable men of art are returning to The Stand after a year away,
solving crimes, killing dragons, fighting for the greater good. Your basic
honourable stuff.
Andy Zaltzman - Cricket fancying jewish politico and former
central defender now prone to lapses of concentration and courage.
David O' Doherty - Celtic keyboard weilding whimsy merchant
and commanding midfield general whose vision outreaches his ability.
John Oliver - Failed open spot now enjoying preposterous
success stateside. Now plays only softball. (john will be appearing webcam
allowing)
Alun Cochrane - Father figure and deceptively languid loose
man in behind the front two.
Daniel Kitson - Lover, Thinker, Artist, Prophet and born
goal scorer.
Five good comedians who like each other larking about for the pleasure of
each other and your goodselves.
When we did this two years ago, there was online scrabble, the positive
reinforcement of audience members jobs, an audience member showed us how to
translate text with google. And there was a moving montage of memorial
benches.
If that sounds like your bag come along and have your mind blown clean out.
PS - there will also be jokes and possibly some guests, but probably not as
we found that didn't really work last time.
