Built into the basement of a Georgian tenement on the edge of Edinburgh’s new town the Stand Comedy Club is an intimate space with a superb atmosphere. The club is open every night of the week with a varied programme of contemporary stand-up, sketches and touring shows – and there’s free improv every Sunday lunchtime.

The bar offers a great wine list and malt selection at pub, not club, prices – and the kitchen offers generous portions of home-cooked food at reasonable prices. Small candlelit tables are aimed at couples and alcopops and stag nights are banned on Friday and Saturday

The Assembly Rooms is back on the Fringe this year and with an incredible programme of comedy, theatre and live music.

Our sister company have some big things planned as they have taken over the newly refurbished Assembly Rooms. There’s ground-breaking theatre, celebrity names, big name music spectaculars and a strong Scottish theme throughout.

Quarriers is a Scottish based charity that is here to provide help and make a positive difference.  We’re here for adults with disabilities, people struggling to cope with epilepsy, young people dealing with homelessness and children and families facing poverty and disability.


With Scott Agnew, Scott Gibson, Darren Connell, The Rev Obadiah Steppenwolf III and Mikey Adams.

We can reserve tickets online but can't take advance payment as to ensure that Quarriers benefits from the money raised on the night.
