Built into the basement of a Georgian tenament on the edge of Edinburgh’s new town the Stand Comedy Club is an intimate space with a superb atmosphere.
The club is open every night of the week with a varied programme of contemporary stand-up, sketches and touring shows – and there’s free improv every Sunday lunchtime.
Our intimate venue is suited to small groups of friends and couples so we don't take bookings from large single sex groups like stag and hen parties.
We don’t sell pitchers of lager or alcopops but the bar offers a great wine list and malt selection at pub, not club, prices. And our kitchen offers generous portions of home-cooked food at reasonable prices.
